I'll definitely download it and give it a try.

Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter Demo This Week?

Ghostrecon.Net (thanks Frans) has word that the demo for Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter is expected soon, the post is from Saturday, so it sounds like this week, though this is all a bit vague and translated:
GR:AW PC could be on your PC sometime next week according to this post by a moderator in the French Ubisoft forums. The best translation I can come up with at this time is...

"Well, the demo is out next week! One of the folks that were at the fan's day yesterday asked the question and one said for them that the demo is due out next week but no exact date was specified."

Keep your eyes peeled on the official sites for the exact date and content of the demo. Forum discussion here.

Kewl! 8) Perhaps we could have it up on the group site for d/l on a temp basis? It seems the only way I get a decent d/l speed. What are the chances of doing it that way?

FWIW: I played the X360 demo (different game from the pc version) and it was great. I played what looks like the first campaign mission. It's hard to get a feel for the AI, but the environment was awesome, the sounds were awesome, the feel was awesome. If UBI held GRIN (GRAW PC dev) to the same high standards, it should not disappoint.

I was just asking myself why this topic is not in the Ghost Recon forum? Isn't that where the other threads on GRAW are located?

Ghost in German is "geist". In Spanish it's "fantasma".

"The language survived until the 5th century AD in the form of Demotic and until the Middle Ages in the form of Coptic. Thus it had a lifespan of over four millennia. Egyptian is one of the oldest recorded languages known."

So a language known as "Egyptian" used to exist but not anymore.
