Just in case someone else has this problem (or if I ever uninstall and reinstall and forget the fix):

Tonight when I was at the multiplayer screen, I logged in and watched the cursor wait as the Ubi.com server was refreshing. I CTD and got a bug report window that listed the bug as a "runaway loop detected."

After rolling back drivers and even uninstalling and reinstalling the game with no correction, I went to the support forums and found the fix:

Amend your target in the icon by adding -norunaway after the original target. It will then read: .../ravenshield.exe" -norunaway

and thank god it worked. :roll:

Yep, FIRE and I found that out last night. I forgot to post that info here. They are going to be fixing this in a patch apparently.

Another couple of things I found. Sometimes when you are at the READY screen (The screen where you pick your weapons) you can't click READY, it is greyed out. The way to fix this is to choose your team again by clicking on the "?" Icon on the bottom left of the READY screen, choose either the team you want RED or GREEN, or sometimes all you can choose is AUTOSELECT. If you can only choose AUTOSELECT, don't panic, it will still put you back on the team you were on before.

Sencond. There is a bug that when you start the mission the READY screen stays on your screen and you can't move or anything during a mission. Unfortunately, there is only one way out of this, open the CONSOLE, "~" key. Type SUICIDE. This will kill your character and then you can join the next round. They are supposedly fixing these problems too.

FYI: the 1.1 patch is out for RVS that fixes this bug.
