I always thought that it was horrendously fake that we couldn't shoot through walls and stuff. It seems that police are moving to frangible bullets to save their own lives though. Apparently many are killed by ricochets and friendly fire that passes through walls. Frangibles shatter into a fine powder when they hit anything much harder than human flesh. It looks like the games were inadvertantly ahead of their times.

That's one way to look at it. in game you can shoot through doors, just so you know.

I, for one, am glad you can't shoot through walls.

Can you imagine one of those idiot fraggers on the public servers? They would spawn and throw nades all around and start shooting in all directions.

Just like the real life CQB operators do.
