hi guys, i was wondering if you wanted a match in JO. It would have to be a small number of players, max 5X5 because we are a new squad. Please post here if you are interested and we can arrange a date and time. Thankyou

yessir, we would but have qualifications...

we are NOT, and never will be a gamesmanship or run and gun unit. we play as close to RL tactics as possible. does that fit the profile you all play with?

let us know... thx.

we do TRY to use real UK tactics for our warfare, but we havnt had any matches yet, lol, so we dont know if it would work out. We could only play at weekends, preferably sundays or saterday afternoon. if you are still interested, we can sort out some dates and times.

hey lagman,

We're setting up with BOD for Friday night, but we can try to find a time that's compatible. Where's your "center of gravity?" that is, where are most of your guys located? You mentioned UK ...

We're mostly USA.

four of us are from the UK, one from Sweden and one from denmark. Because we are Euro, if you just give us a GMT time we can sort it out. We could only play on weekends because of school and some of us go to boarding schools.

so, right now, eastern time is 5 hrs behind GMT ... we would usually be on at about 10 eastern on friday night ... that would be ... 0300 GMT. I think, Freakishly early on a saturday morning.

is this reasonable? Let me know and we can iterate on the time. let's think in terms of next weekend.

I'm thinking something along the lines of Saturday or Sunday during the day, so that it's reasonable for your squad to join us. Now that also brings up the though of can WE get people online during those times. We'll have to ask everyone and see what they say.

I look forward to meeting you guys in game.

true, a saturday afternoon game might work ... wouldn't be too late in Euro yet ...

Kodiak and I have met up in the afternoon periodically.

How about around 6-8pm GMT, that means that it would be either just before or after lunch for you guys. That means that school wouldnt be an issue, and we could get you on either an empty stomache or a bloated one, lol. Im 15, we have two 16 yr old, one 19, and another 15 yr old and a 21 yr old.

Not to scare you, but other than Hammer none of us are even CLOSE to that young. Some of us I'd dare say would have problems even REMEMBERING when we were that young. :)

i forgot to ask, do you have a JO server, because we dont, lmao. If not im sure we can find an empty one.

We never use a dedicated server, one of us just hosts. We've topped out at around 7 players, but that's with coop and all the bots. Without bots it may allow more players for a given bandwidth.

Age

*Laughs at Jedi's Age comment*

15 - 19 years old, that's how long I have been out of High School. 8O

I wish there were games like this when I was 15-19 years old. All I had to enjoy at that age was Atari, Coleco Vision, Intellivision, or a Commodore 64. Either way, it will be fun fighting other people that love games as much as we do.

lol, we would rather play a team that actually have the disipline to work as a team, and you can only get that from older agegroup squads. That doesnt mean that we cant use teamwork...lol, im gonna shut up before i contradict myself again, lmao
