no bad impression...
you guys play differently and I can see that has come out of ladder competition - i was doing that as my first online gaming experience with DF3...we were one of the best units out there.
i got tired of that though and prefer a much more realistic approach. RL tactics, etc. proper formations, movement to contact, yada, yada... most of us prefer that.
where it fails is with folks that play gamesmanship - i.e. know the games and maps inside and out, don't care about dying (my biggest gripe about JO is it does not matter if you die - you just respawn...). etc.
one area where i think we can help you all, if you are interested, is individual infantry tactics - RL style. not to say that we use them much or are that great at it, but we do all know most of the theory.
one area where you all can help us is with the vehicles - mastery of those and bringing the objective area to absolute suppression...which you all do extremely well.
one thing to note is that none of this may work well in ladder games...
it is just a fun and accomplishment thing to be able to play that way - i.e. simulation of as close to RL as possible.
