I certainly do, and I've been thinking about reinstalling it again.
First I have to finish HL2, then I need to reinstall KOTOR and play darkside before KOTOR2 comes out in Feb, plus I want to replay Doom 3 and Far Cry for the 2nd time, I also want to play RTCW again, as well as NOLF2 and Tron 2.0, and there are the H&D2:SS missions to play SP, as well ST: Elite Force and ST:EF2.

THEN I should be ready to play JK:JA SP again.
:)

For the MP side, however, I'd reinstall sooner. It just seemed to me that JK:JA actually hurt the MP community built around JK2:JO by splintering it rather than helping. There were TONS of servers for JK2 and JA never had that many. At least a year ago when I was looking. Maybe by now more people have moved on to JK:JA.

Some of the best (anonymous--not with anyone I knew) MP gaming I ever had was with JK2:JO. People made these elaborate maps with dueling rooms and arenas plus other areas to just hang out. Using the animations you could kneel, sit, or lie down, gesture as you chatted...it was like going to a fencing club! Occasionally people would challenge each other to a duel and we'd all watch, or sometimes you'd even get a 5-10 person FFA going while others looked on.
My favorite mod was the one that allowed jetpacks, grappling hooks, and dual double-bladed sabers. You could even alter each of the 4 blade's colors and make yourself look like a neon sign when fighting. :)

check out those mod sites...

i think they are adding just those type of mods.

going to the mall today (YIPPEEE!!!! ) so maybe I can look for a used copy, along with Pacfic Fighters and maybe HL2 for Nidia (she might just like it).

Gee Jedi, a lot of what you're describing still exist in JA. I play it regularly as you well know. I'm part of a JA clan and the plus mod 2.1 provides the grapple and jetpack. people still make lots of maps and the community is still strong in a lot of respects. If you ever want to log on with me let me know.

I guess it took a long time to start up then. I only hung around for a couple of months MP-wise because I was so discouraged (I'd sold my JK2:JO copy when I got JA).
