I have it and enjoy it - but I would class it as strictly single player. You are the head of a 4-man squad. The squad AI is pretty decent. The missions are relatively linear with plentiful weapon ammo and "suit recharging stations" ... Think Star Wars Battlefront Single Player Campaign. (It has MP, but it looks like typical CTF/deathmatch, etc ... shame actually becauuse it could have easily been "Rainbow Six - Republic Edition"

i picked it up today, but am looking for info before i break the seal...
reviews i read say the same about multi-player... anyone know if folks are working on a coop mod? they did release a patch with a new map, level editor, along with fixes but it seems MP could use more...
i was going to get sh3, but that copy protection has me boycotting it... maybe CoD or BiA would be better?

Hey you! Who the hell said you could immunise yourself from the misery of being unable to play a game you've bought, eh?! I've got a good mind to have a friggin whip-round in the team to pay for a copy, drag you kickin' and screamin' to the nearest store, and make you buy it. Then, for good measure, you'll be dragged back up the road, and forced to "install" it. Once you fail to get it working (we may need to improvise here and smash your drives up to make sure it doesn't work) we're gonna make you put it on your desk in full view, so you have to look at the box every time you sit down at the computer.!was going to get sh3, but that copy protection has me boycotting it
WHO SAID YOU COULD BE DIFFERENT . . . . . . . ?! (envisage Charlie Brown style protest here)

I plan on getting it eventually, but at $50 still, and with me just having bought SC:CT and SWAT 4 and not yet having played KOTOR2, I'm in no rush for another SP FPS!
When the game drops in price to $40 or so I'll get it.
I ALSO want to get DW. I've thought about SH3, but I've yet to see it in a store (not BB, not EB, not Walmart, not Target) so that hasn't been an issue.
In other news, Naturalpoint (makers of TrackIR) will be releasing LOMAC 1.1 on a CD that you can buy from them, so you needn't use Paypal (standard VISA/MC instead) and you'll get an actual CD.
