Anybody got it yet? If so, what's the verdict? And most importantly: are there pilotable A-wings in the game?

Nothing here, but Toys R Us has a $10 gift card they're giving away if you buy it, or the trilogy on DVD.

Well, I bought Star Wars Battlefront. Here's a brief review:
Not bad.

Heh, well, maybe a few more details.
1. It's chaotic at first, and the manual is, well, anemic. The manual is also incorrect in places; for example, you press the C button to crouch, NOT the left shift button as the manual would have it.
2. Forget using a joystick. It works when you're on the ground and on foot, but hop in a starfighter and (so far) no remapping of controls seems to make the thing work. So ultimately you'll probably wind up trying to pilot an X-wing (or whatever) with the mouse. When piloting an X-wing, get used to hearing "You are leaving the battlefield." If you've played the X-wing/TIE Fighter games, SWB starfighters create massive oscular vacuum (that is to say, they suck. big time).
3. For 4 years 32MB of video ram has been enough for me and the games I've chosen to play; SWB, however, requires at least 64MB. So I bought a new vid card.
4. Dial-up folks need not apply; multiplayer is for broadband only. At least, I seem to recall reading that somewhere - maybe in the game's FAQ at LucasArts.
5. I've not tried multiplayer, but Buff has, so maybe he'll chime in with some commentary.
6. Running over the blue cannisters (bacta) restores your health - as I discovered by trial and error. In one batle I ran over a red cannister and got some kinda grenade.
7. I finished the Galactic Conquest Campaign last night in a few hours and was well into the Galactic Civil War deal when I called it a night.
8. Many of the cut scenes are straight outta the movies.
9. There's no A-wing, which is just as well, cuz I dunno how you'd pilot one and stay within the field of battle.
10. Don't ram a speeder bike into a droid even if you've only moved a yard or two and are not anywhere near top speed.
11. You can use various Rebel guys, various Imperial guys, wookies, and droids - but evidently some battles you have no choice as to which side (Rebel or Imperial) you'll be playing.
12. It's not X-wing/TIE Fighter, and it's not GR or even R6, and it's not MW4, but it is kinda fun.
