Anyways, I was just wondering, have any of you played this game? I played the sp demo, it's pretty fun, but not really realistic (that's to be expected though). I'm not quite sure, but I assume it just randomly makes you miss ala cone-fire?

I'm not really a gun expert, so I couldn't tell you if the properties of the guns are unrealistic... But is it just me or did it seem like the nades took an abnormally large amount of time to detonate?

Also, there is a few other unrealistic features, such as being able to sprint for hours without penalty... And carrying a sub-machine gun, a rifle, and a fookin' panzershreck (sp?) all at once. Despite that, the game is quite amusing. I may buy it when it comes out (Is it already out? Not sure, haven't been to a game store in quite some time...), in which case I'll probably be able to give you guys a more in-depth review.

Yeah, it's nowhere near as good as inf.

I said it's quite amusing, whereas as infiltration is the greatest game mankind has created. Ok, maybe I'm being dramatic, but still! Hehe...

But if you're looking for a REALISTIC (not semi-realistic) WWII game... well, look elsewhere. Maybe Third Reich will be what yer looking for. I certainly hope it's realistic. Even thought they stole our jogging (you won't get that unless you're from the inf forums...). :razz:

I played the demos as well, didn't like it either, totally unrealistic, although I really loved the sound of the weapons!!

I believe it's out in the US, but not here..although some of my friends already have it...and like it, but they just love shoot'm ups

I have played demo - it is gone off of my hard drive. While it may be fun, it is nowhere near realistic. I see no reason to pay for it, especially if you have Quake 3 already - just download Urban Terror for the same type of game - it is even fun and a bit more realistic.

Like I said, it's not really SUPPOSED to be realistic, really only semi-realistic at best. Frankly, the most realism I can get right now in a WWII mod (I find this quite disheartening myself) is DoD with Captain Glimsharp's (I think that's his names) iron sights.
