Battlefield 2 Patch is Out

Battlefield 2/Special Forces Patch, Linux Server
A new patch is now available for Battlefield 2, updating DICE's multiplayer shooter sequel and its new Special Forces expansion to version 1.12. Since the patch applies to both the original game and the add-on, word is: "If you have installed the 1.12 patch to core Battlefield 2 and then installed Battlefield 2: Special Forces, you will need to re-apply the 1.12 patch again to be able to play on 1.12 Servers." Additionally, the new version 1.12 Linux dedicated server is now available. The patch can be found on the Battlefield 2 Website, and mirrored on 3D Downloads, 3D Gamers, FileShack, VGPro, and Worthplaying. The new Linux server is available on the Battlefield 2 Website, and mirrored on 3D Gamers, FileFront, VGPro, and Worthplaying.
