Has anyone else seen the comercials for AA. I notice that its available for playstation so does that mean its being sold now, and if so is there COOP and single player missions?

Yeah, i mean I know there are online abilities for the PS2, but it's certainly not standard. An online-only game for the PS2 I wouldn't think would be a good idea...

I did read somewhere there was a new version being brought out. Not sure what platform and not sure of any specific details. but I DO know it was "For Sale". Let's not forget it isn't so much a commercial product though, as a recruitment tool for the US Armed Forces.

Really can't wait to see us all playing this, have strolled around on one of the maps and am quite impressed with things so far. We'll need as many peeps as poss to enjoy it though seeing as there are no AI, unless we can find ourselves another group who appreciate the FPS style games as we do. Maybe I'll take a wander around the servers and see who I find, would that be fine by everyone if I go look for some opposition?

Yep! Did that last night. I'd say that would work for us, happy to give that a go - it's not like we have a bad rep or anything is it?! :?
Except thisa one time . . .at band camp . . .where Raptor shot that guy, and then 30 secs later I shot him again!! Not a problem you might think, 'cept he was supposed to be on our side!!

Well, I give up. I had this same problem 3.5 yrs ago when I first tried to do AA (I found the original email)--I can't qualify because EVERY TIME it gives me an error when I try to upload my results to the server with an "invalid password." Yet if I do it from the menu screen, it works just fine.

Whatever.

well, you are doing something wrong because everybody else in the group is doing just fine not to mnetion tens of thousands of other folks.

i bet it has something to do with a controller map and you are getting a cap or some such thing...

try simplifying your password...???

I had a similar problem Jedi, mine was Username and PW related. I had to log into my account, change my PW, then log into the game with the new PW, re-qualify, and I was able to upload the results.

C'mon Jedi, give it another go mate.

Ok, I got it finally fixed. It looks like the idiotic program always remembers your old password. If it says it's wrong, and I type in the correct one, it won't remember it! I had to make it forget my login, then go back in and type the correct one THEN it worked.

So I qual'd the M16--but I can't finish the damned obstacle course. Moron won't tell me what I'm doing wrong. I get to the top of the net to crawl down, and no matter what I do I get that stupid "That may be your way, but it's not the Army way!" How about you TELL me what I'm doing wrong, fuckmunch???
I've jumped down, that's wrong.
I've tried climbing down the center, but you can't with that pole there.
I've tried climbing down either side, but either at the top or the bottom I get told I've done it wrong again.
I've no damned idea WTF it wants. :x

End result--I'm still stuck. Brilliant.

Yeah, as someone already mentioned in one of the above threads - stay in lane, and don't forget to turn around before climbing down the far side backwards (the way you would on a ladder). Also helps if you can 'run' as much of the way as possible, to keep your time down. Some of the crawling obstacles have to be cleared by a small extra distance before it will allow you to stand up again and so on.

Turns out you're not allowed to do the obvious...run on the center beam! Once I figured out to crouch over the sides instead it let me pass.
I've now done all the basic, including MOUT, both sniper rifles, and the first jump. Now I have the live drop to do.

Turn left 45 degrees as you exit the aircraft. grab a bit of 'glide' early or you'll be too low by the time you're through the cloud.
Just my experience, it may not work for you. 8)

How do I unlock the Sniper school? I got sharpshooter in basic training and yet the sniper schools are still locked?
