Hey guys,
I currently been investigating if my PC has a fault or something going on with it in VR. A few guys on some Discord channels are saying I should be able too run my PC specs and VR much higher then I currently do.
having been wondering that myself but I tried quadviews and still not able to run DCS in VR @90Hz with a high resolution. here are my PC Specs:
1. Intel 12700K @5ghz Stable.
2. MSI Pro Z790-P motherboard BIOS LAtest.
3. MSI Ventus 4070Ti
4. 64GB Ram 3600mhz..
5. Win 11 Pro 23H3
6. Reverb G2 VR Headset
Now, I am trying to determine why everybody keeps telling me I should be able to run DCS with VR @ 90 Hz with a high resolution. that is just not the case.
So with thos spec above what do you thingI should be able to run in my G2 @90hz.. I can run 60hz all day and not have an issue while running Quadviews but once I select 90Hz the FPS tank to below 90FPS.
with quadviews and running @90hz I can get 40-50% NAtive resolution and be ok any higher and the FPS Suffer.. I had ran 3D mark and got a top score so it seems as if everything is OK, I just don't know why those guys are saying I should be running better.

Re: DCS VR and am I running ok?
well looks to have been a red herring of sorts. the guy |I was talking to said he had a 3090 which has a higher bit bus and he only flys the f16-18. I was flying the Apache in Syria and when I put the TADS on the FPS dipped down to like 75-80fps..
in the f16 and Viggen it seemed fine but did not run a full mission with either of those planes but it did well FPS wise at the starting base in a MP Mission..
