Re: Razbam/ED Feud
How do any of the ED people stay there and work? Or are they fed propoganda? Or do they really need the job to support families?

This. You can say that this motive describes the vast majority of all employees and not just those at ED.

By the way, although the owner of ED is Nick Grey, who is based in the UK, the company is registered in Switzerland. I have heard that the Switzerland address is not much more than a mailing address. ED sub-contracts out all of the engine and ED - produced module development to a Russian company. The Russian company essentially is the company, but on paper they are subcontractors. Regardless, the fact remains that ED has now loaned 10 million pounds to The Fighter Collection, and those loans were refinanced and are now owed to the parent company that owns TFC, which... You guessed it, is basically a shell company also owned by NG, based in Jersey (not New Jersey, but the island of Jersey) for tax reasons.

Ah don’t you just love the modern labyrinth of international business practices?

Yes, I saw this, and I'm aware of what was said by the ED community manager (I'll abbreviate his handle as BN) said that prompted Razbam to make this statement. BN is towing the propaganda line for ED.
On a sidenote, this "general announcement" on Razbam's discord resulted in an absolute firestorm on their discord general chat yesterday, resulting in thousands of messages, with lots of repetitive arguments and LOTS of ED defenders coming over to the Razbam discord to trash Razbam. Super fun. Going to be pretty funny if the ED defenders find out that ED has been lying to them all along and they should have really been defending Razbam. But whatever, facts don't matter to these people!
On a side note, I don't know if you saw, but Polychop (developer for the OH-58 Kiowa and the Gazelle) imploded yesterday, and the entire development team resigned with the exception of the CEO. Not sure what happened, but it's supposedly not related to the problems Razbam is having with ED. My understanding is this is the second time all of the developers resigned from the Polychop team (except for the CEO). All of the Gazelle devs quit years ago, and the CEO gathered new developers for the OH-58. Now all of these developers have also quit. Would love to know what happened there.

This is starting to sound like the things a band goes through before they break up. Wow.
I've invested in the Gazelle and Koiwa but dont really fly them much. I need to thought to keep sharp.

And all of these issues carry even more weight when you consider that ED is the only game in town when it comes to modern jet sims. We don’t even have any alternatives to jump to if things deteriorate further unless you are happy with just playing a heavily modded 27 year old F-16 sim.
