We seem to always ask each other about actual russian inventory. Thought I'd post what was published recently in AvWeek:
Russian Air Force:
MiG-29: 435
MiG-31: 193
MiG-31M: 90
Su-25: 193
Su-25UB: 20
Su-27: 303
Su-27SM: 7
Su-27UB: 52
Russian Navy
Su-25UB: 14
Su-27: 72
I'm not sure what all the variants are, perhaps someone can enlighten?

Re: Russian Aircraft info - current
Where are the Su-33 numbers? Or are they included (wrongly) in the -27 number? There's like 2 dozen of them.Gator wrote: Russian Air Force:
MiG-29: 435 -- likely all Fulcrum C's, with a handful of twin-seaters
MiG-31: 193 -- original model, slated for retirement soon

Su-25: 193 -- original model
Su-25UB: 20 -- twin-seat trainer
Su-27: 303 -- original model
Su-27SM: 7 -- upgraded old 27
Su-27UB: 52 -- two seater

Su-25UB: 14 -- I have to check this, but I thought these were UTGs; however AvWk has made mistakes before
Su-27: 72 -- original model
