DCS 1.2.4 UH-1 Huey

1.2.4 will coincide with the release of the UH-1 Huey. It looks like other planes ra ealso in the works:
F-15C, F/A-18C and Fw-190D9.

I am actually downloading DCS world now. got a guy at work to do so too.

I am disappointed that I have to buy a copy of LockOn to use FC3. why do they do this?

it is same with Black Shark and Black Shark 2, right?

Lock On is BS licensing with the original owner I believe. I think they very much didn't want to have to go this route. That being said I'm pretty sure _ANY_ old version is sufficient.

Black Shark 2 is either a full purchase OR an upgrade from the original Black Shark. In this case the old one is not required, but you can get it cheaper if you have it already.

GLad you are installing it though. Do you have any time to play this week?

so I have dcs: black shark. is that the latest version? i.e. BS2?

probably not this week. I have barely figured out how to start the game up. ;)

EDIT: NM. looks like I have the original and would need to buy the upgrade to 2.

If you're only gonna pick one I'd say the A-10C, but that's just me. If you have some money to spare A-10C and BS2 are more realistically modelled than the FC3 stuff though FC3 gives you more aircraft, needless to say. P-51 is well... a P51... and Combined Arms can be fun if you want to try to shoot down your friends...
