Oh, look at the flight to Cyprus video at about 8:30. I nearly hit Mach 2! I got up to Mach 1.9!

Of course in a dive the Mach number drops for airspeed so it's a losing battle.

Next time see if you can fly over Salamis on the east coast of Cyprus. There are some interesting ancient Greek ruins there.
