My lovely wife got me a nice LG 1080p 34" ultrawide monitor to replace my 24" monitor. I'm super excited!

Thanks. It's taken me years to get to this point and my wife is to thanks for allowing me to invest in my primary hobby.

Those plastic models are 1:200 scale from mostly flight miniatures.com. the q400 is 1/100 scale though. They're not glue together, you just affix the wings and tail.

I use tuis for everything. I have a split keyboard for fps games so I dont have to hang my arms up on the yoke.

The bravo throttle quad has interchangeable levers which makes things easier for different aircraft. Yes I use it for helos too. The small flight info displays don't work with DCs despite many people trying to get them to. They are great for xp11.

Yes I fly combat with it. It's a bit different than a stick but I've gotten used to it. Now that I have a bigger display I can actually see things.

Have you flown DCS with the wide monitor yet? How do you like it? Is it 1080 tall?

I have and its glorious! I can actually see stuff now! Makes a world of a difference. Yes its 1080p.
