First F-4E Flights

Played around with the F-4 and got some basics down. That thing sure is a big lug to fly in a dogfight, both in maneuvering and in this old time weapons employment. At least the HUD is clean without too much information cluttering it:

Um yeah, the F4 isn't exactly a turn & burn dogfighter. PDT_Armataz_01_14

I had read before that the Rhino was famous for flipping onto its back and entering a flat spin. In one of those turns, you can see I nearly did that. It suddenly did a roll reversal, flopped upside down, and was about to start spinning but I somehow was able to recover and survive that. Probably from my F-14 training haha.

Ive been practicing as well. I had the A/P going and was holding altitude and my throttle was too low. I eventually stalled and went into the flat spin and had to eject. keep the throttle up haha.

I have the heaters down and also uncaged AIM7's. Working on getting the shrike to work. I also think I have the Mav's figured out. I wish the free bombing similar to CCIP worked easier and was more accurate. Not a fan of the dropping tables but thats because I havent figured them out yet.

I did shoot down some very scary Mig15's haha.

Bingo! When flying the F4 just imagine you are flying a jet powered P-47. PDT_Armataz_01_14
