Audio killing FPS.

Apparently audio murders your fps in lo-mac. A hit is to be expected, but we're talking on the order of 50%. The more sounds you have playing the worse it is. A lot of people have had luck turning off hardware acceleration.

I went into options and select audio on the dial and unchecked everything except SOUND. This gives me an extra 15 FPS, so for me at least, it is a very real way to gain some serious performance. Guess a lot of people have been ditching SB Live cards for onboard or others too since they are taking a real licking here.

I disabled hardware acceleration, and it's a definite improvement. My min. FPS is at least 5-10fps higher now. YMMV
