Song - Movie association

Post by PanzerMeyer »

For me at least certain songs have become forever linked/connected to a film that they were featured in. In other words, it's impossible for me to hear the song on its own and NOT think of the film that it was in. I'll list a few examples of my own and I hope you guys have some examples you can provide as well!

1. Paint it Black - Full Metal Jacket

2. The Blue Danube - 2001: A Space Odyssey

3. Sarabande - Barry Lyndon

4. You've Lost that Lovin' Feelin' - Top Gun

5. Unchained Melody - Ghost

6. Twist & Shout (Beatles version) - Ferris Bueller's Day Off

7. The End - Apocalypse Now

For shame on your Top Gun trivia! I believe the song is: You've Lost that Lovin' Feelin'

I will add to your list: Bad Boys by Inner Circle. We all know what tv show that's associated with.

I also associate Rob Zombie's Dragula with the Matrix.
