The New England Airsoft group invaded the paintball fields in Bridgewater, MA a couple weekends ago. The guns are very cool. The guys very nuts. We were pretty impressed. Anyway, it looks like there is a fairly large group that plays just north of the border in NH, which is not too bad for all us here in the south eastern massachusetts area.
Some of us might be checking it out once we check out there stuff online and see when they are playing. Looked very cool. A lot of the guys were trying to talk us into playing, when they saw we werent the typical speed baller type paintball losers.
Very cool though.

Yeah Hudson, I talked to Gerry about this and we figured that while paintball will be our thing mostly because its close by, we could totally do aiorsoft a couple times a year. Say a weekend camping trip with outings to the local airsoft fields? That would make for at least a couple of good weekends a year!
that is pretty much what i do - play 2-3 big events a year.
make the change and you will probably not go back. it is very much milsim, realism oriented. of course it still depends upon the people you decide to participate with.
Raptor and I are into it. Madrus has come out to Texas to play once, and had fun even with the bad knee... He has since purchased a gun. Softball and Kodiak have also purchased guns (pretty sure Kodiak got his).
Here is an event in which I am one of the platoon leaders (I have been since the first year):
