So the day is almost here that i finally get my new MOBO.
On Moday i will recieve my shiny new ABIT NF7-S V2.0, this combined with the extra 512Mb Ram that the Drunken Pirate has given me at a nice price to bring me up to 1 GIG RAM will give me a very nice system.
Also add in a new AMD Athlon XP-M 2500+ (multipier unlocked and overclocking potential of 2.6 GHZ AIRCOOLED) and i should be zooming along nicely in Lomac and my other games with my fully functional 9800 Pro. Although this new processor will have to wait till next month but thats ok as long as i can play Lomac on the XP1900 till then.
I feel like a kid waiting for Christams day!

Well just to let you all know my mobo came and got it installed in my case in under 1/2 hour!
Pressed the power button and up it came first time! Lovely
I also now have 1 Gig Ram and AMD XP2400+ (o/clocked to 2.2GHz! Nice )
Radeon 9800 Pro running marvelous! and Lomac looking absolutely Amazing (ok so im totally still in the gobsmacked stage at just how good it looks).
So i am still setting everything up back to what it was, but Damm norton AV and Firewall seem to really bog system down on startup (takes 2 mins to get them up and running after the initial windows XP desktop comes up).
So i think i'll just set them up to start manually.
See you all in the Lomac skies very soon as (well as soon as i figure out how to arm and launch missiles  )
And Falcon also man that's going to look better than it did as well.
Speak to you guys soon.

I'm also thinking of ditching some of these system parasites. I have 2 PCs, and this goddam Zone Alarm firewall on both. My dad set them up, and on my non-flight-sim PC (thank the gods) It needs a password. My dad, can't remember it, and we can't even shut it down without a password! A vicious cycle.
