Hate to say it but unless dev is going to continue on it we might consider dropping Reality Check. The other mods we are looking at surpass it in weapons - I think, and some of the weapon combos do not make sense (MP5 and sniper rfle...). If we want just a kit mod, lets do that and remove the excess stuff (like the no/white face graphics). No offense guys - just what I see. Tell me if I am wrong.
I also do suggest dropping:
Black Sun (if anyone has it still)
BJB Sabre Team (I guess it is difficult to get working...???)
Downtown
Definitely keep the Harntrox stuff and I like the TPC map pack.
As far as looking for new ones I am mostly interested in new missions/maps. The skins and kits are kinda old already...

Just so I haven't misunderstood anything - some of the mods mentioned above we haven't used yet right?! It's just the way it's been typed up here it sounds that way, or did I miss some real fun?
Anyway, I am happy with the TPC map pack v2.0 & Hantrox mods. What about playing with Navy Seals or something - fairly basic and user friendly if nothing else. I'll come back to you when I've had a better look at e3verything myself.
Regards, Don
p.s. No offense Steel, but that is one combination I happen to like - sniper rifle & MP5 SD, it allowed me to use the same character to run around on all the maps doing a variety of jobs.
My favourite style of play is to scout ahead of the main group, snipe any tactical targets I could, and still be able to go 'in' alone and sneak about taking out anyone who got in my way (quietly).
In the real world, specialist team members would choose their own preferred weapons, ammunition (within Geneva convention! oh, really! ), personal kit etc., So IMHO it would not be too unrealistic to have that as a weapon choice. Anyway I rable again, so food for thought.

well...i guess you would need to try carrying the mp5 full stock weapon with silencer (fairly long) AND a PSG-1 sniper rifle (heavy and long) AND the ammo and magazines to go with each and then decide if it was suitable... Don't forget your LBE to cram all of your stuff into, your NVG's, your kevlar, your squad radio, spare batteries, canteens with water (or bladder), first aid kit, yada, yada.

To clarify this kit issue (at least from my POV) ...
This kit is based on a suggestion from Raptor. He suggested a sniper rifle paired with the collapsible stock version of the MP5 (don't remember the designation).
Perhaps this needs to be modded so that the sniper rifle is really an M4 with better zoom and an actual collapsible stock SMG ...
Nothing is etched in stone ... let's figure the best way to do this...

Silence is golden - Duct Tape is silver
Steel,
Most everything could be carried in a patrol pack, immediate req'd kit is kept on your webbing or chest rig or vest, by immediate trhat would be fighting equipment - the patrol apck is usually dropped off at a safe point b4 the mission is undertaken. But i do hear ya, it's a lot of kit - but you only have to look at the real life stuff to understand the difference between ideal and the real world when the shit is hitting the fan - take for example the B20 story, those guys were carrying up to 200lbs of kit in their bergans on that hop, per man - and that was without any kevlar or armour.
Anyway we digress here; you're right we should keep the choices realistic too.

p.s. Was a good giggle tonite - i managed to get a whole mission in w/o the dreaded lag, so that made all the effort worthwhile - thanx to all for your patience, hope I didn't spoil things too much.
