I've seen some GR2 screenshots, and is it my imagination, or will there really be F-22s attacking airfields loaded up with MiG-25s while the Ghosts run about on the ground?

Yes, it is the intention to allow your team to call in tactical airstrikes, and artillery strikes guided by your team Whether or not thay have thought deeply enough to consider that you may rained on by the enemy ground support AND give you the option to call in air cover to counter I don't know, I'm not even sure how much involvement your team is going to have in the "Fire For Effect, and Test /Adjust Fire" side of things, I'd really like to see some sort of FOO, TAC Gp type potential there, although we musn't forget the role of GhostRecon team as a whole, they are a special forces ground team who operate alone mostly behind enemy lines - but all-in-all I'd say it's going to be a big step forward. I think the biggest bitching point at the moment is that bther is no weapon on show in the First Person view, just the weapon sight reticule - no biggie to me that!

Correct me if I ask something you just answered, but is there any chance of one team member being a FAC to guide in airstrikes?

FAC = FOO, it's the same - and TAC Gp is just a whole team of guys involved in directing aircraft for strike purposes, these guys in a TAC Gp involve personnel at the point all the way back to personnel at more rearward location giving orders to aircraft in realtime for airstrikes over encrypted comms systems, man portable to vehicle mounted. Whether the idea is for one guy to do it pre-designated before the mission I don't know.
