GO Forth . . . . . . . .

Post by KODIAK »

. . . . . . . . .and prepare the World for good news!
For everyone who has kept me in their thoughts, I can now let you know my CT scan results were released to me today before my chemo. From my first CT the largest measured infected lymph node was 3.5cm cross-section approx, the largest measured cross-section to date stands at just 1.5cm! By no means out of the woods, but a good clean effort in the right direction. The consultant is pleased, and we continue as planned until my 8 cycles are complete, his only disappointment was the failure of the Hickman line as it got infected, too bad really, and he is reluctant to replace it at the mo. Hope this has made your day - it has mine, thanx to all for keeping me positive, it's all part of the therapy!

Actually John Travolta was quite the ladies man in Saturday Night Fever!

I think Steel is just envious he can't dance as well as Mr Travolta.

I'd love to see Steel in that White suit giving it boogie on the dance floor!

If nothing else the pictures would give us all something to smile about :D

Just learning to salsa here, bro. I work with all Filipinos and Mexicans now. WOOT! Plus occasionally we get one of the dancers from the Strip in our office. Whoa - Holy Saline Implants Batman!

And John Travolta can't dance like John Travolta in Saturday Night Fever anymore either.

Aw jeez - where were you guys during your childhood?! In the bathroom playing with yourself, maybe - damn sad! Some of us were strutting our very un-gay image all over the all-night dancefloors, like Wigan Casino in Manchester (until some assholes burnt it down! ). I did have my all-nighter, 24Hrs, 48 Hrs "been there, done it!" badges to prove my prowess too.
It was the craze of the time and girls couldn't get enough of you when you got off the floor all sweating and stuff . . they loved it up 'em!
And, no, before you ask I can't dance like that either anymore. LOL! Infact, funnily enough I seem to have a phobia about dancing these days - I'm obviously getting old!

I can't dance, and hate it when I have to. I think I look silly. For this reason, I stay away from such places as dancefloors.

I danced at my wedding.

High school prom before that.

Yeah, I think that covers it.

I was a serious Disco/Rave dancer in my late teens early twenties giving it a serious bit of body popping/break dance Stylee.

Just like Kodiak i have done the full 48 HR weekend dance session! ending up in work on Moday morning totally pissed off that the weekend was over, but i did have the next weekend to look forward to.

Fortunately i've never been anywhere near gay enough to even attempt the SALSA! 8O

The nearest i go to it was watching Come Dancing (British Tv show on Sunday nights) on the telly and laughing my head off at the prats on the telly with the silly suits and Dresses on 8O

Now they were GAY!

The Continentals like the Italians, and Brasilians are all into that sort of crap! You see them on the telly with their fake (very gay!) suntans, and fake (even gayer) smiles prancing around some old tart the age of your granny with more plaster on her face than a 20 storey block of hi-rise flats! Making all these very controversial "hand movements" too. Man you pull any sort of stunts like that around our place and you'd get filled-in proper-like an' all as they say down here!

How do I explain this to you in a simple manner - Salsa dancing - GAY and VERY VERY wrong! Don't come over here doing that sorta shit - you'll end up being invited to the wrong sort of places, where everyone is very touchy-feely friendly, know what I mean!?
