Does this mean I can join in?

Post by Hammer_other »

Found this on the main site:

Team Excessive Force is CMACG WINGS OF FURY's airsoft team.
Team Excessive Force restricts its membership to current or former military, law enforcement, or by special invitation. Wings of Fury members are also eligible for the team.

Feel free to look around. If you like what you see, join us by heading over to the Personnel Department, where you will find a Recruiting link.

You can email us with questions by clicking here.

Does this mean I can join, or am I still too young?

Well, unfortunately Hammer . . . . . . . 8O . . . . . you're too YOUNG!! Legal age for airsoft is, I believe, 16 or 18 in UK. :( Never mind, eh?!

Oh, don't get me wrong, you are still at the good end of an invite - just the legal technicality that's holding you back atm.

It is not a mistake on the site. You are personally limited by the laws of the country you live in. Nothing the team can do about that... You could come to the US and play... ;)

I'm afraid my family doesn't have enough money for the States (in all honesty, we haven't been on a real holiday for 7 years 8O ), so it may be a little while longer before I go over.

Having said that, I'm currently working towards gaining my pilot's license, and so a trip to the US just to rack up (cheaper) solo time might be on the cards. Most likely playse for that would be FL.

Trust me, I wouldn't 8)

BTW, I have no clue why I wrote 'playse' in my last post, must be this substitute brain I use sometimes, when my main one gets worn out.
