Strange. Marrying men at least 20 years older than you was a medieval trend.

And who are we to question other peoples' motives when they are in search of their own happiness. One man's meat is another man's poison they say.

And you think we've moved on very far from there do you? need I say any more? The age gap is a relative thing mate - at your age a year or two is the difference between being a totally niaive virgin to being a complete slag. But at our ages that age gap is less of an issue for pretty much the same reasons and more.

Thanx DA, thanx everyone! I had a nice relaxing day with my youngest yesterday (the wife had to work :( ), and today I went golfing with the lil' guy and a friend from Canada who is back here doing some new work for a few more months and two of his kids. We had a great time, but my game was a bit rusty, hadn't played for about 3 weeks, and I wasn't doing all that great to be honest - so when I pumped my drive all the way down over a dogleg right at the 9th (400 yards - or so it says  ). Anyway, it flew straight over the kids infront of us, and landed I thought somewhere down the right in the fairway by the trees of the dogleg corner. However, on arrival in the genral area of where it should have been - nothing to be found anywhere on the fairway, or in the trees, or at all actually! So I just dropped a ball where I thought I should and played down to the green, had to chip on and then single-putted for a bogey including my penalty stroke. We got to the clubhouse and met up with the kids, and I just asked if they'd seen my ball as it blasted through their position and bounced on the fairway, they all shook their heads. So going one further I asked if they'd maybe picked any balls up off the fairway and Darren said well he'd found this ball - a Titleist - said something like Pro 100 Balata or something, oh well I just had to see this! Go get it from your bag mate, eh? So he does - and my mate Mark just couldn't stop laughing as he trots back to the table with it in his hand. Well, tell me darren, where exactly was this ball, and don't lie cos your mates are here to stop that - well he'd only gone and found it 15 yards short of the green. No way! That can't be right, I know I belted it, and I thought I knew it had gone over their heads but it appeared it must have been an illusion really, cos they never looked up or back at us. It WAS my ball, and it had come to rest just 15 yards short of the green (25 short of the green centre)- it was ONLY 402 yds from the yellow tees - no way! Yes way! And let's say it had bounced the last 100 yds which is possible given the hardness of the ground and the ball. So I just spanked my Titleist Professional 100 Balata almost 300 yards before it hit the ground? C'mon now, stop dreamin'! So, at the weekend I am going to measure the distance using one of those wheel machines with the digital counter on, along the ball's flightpath as I agreed it with my mate Mark. Cos I just gotta know how far that really is. For me that is a complete new record, and has to be a one-off until I buy a new driver of course!! LOL I just couldn't belive after doing that, one of the kids picked up the ball!!
