Post by PanzerMeyer »

We need to do more Ghost Recon! Those maps we played 2 Fridays ago were great. There's Nothing like old school gaming.

Well, let's wrile the guys up then. There are plenty of us here who have G-R. And I for one have more than enough maps / mods to plough through. Let's set a day, time aside and do it. At the mo I am just getting more pissed at Falcon 4 by the day. I need a break from trying to get it working online.

LOL. The problem with modding any game is MP quickly breaks down. Only games like UT that are specifically setup for it seem to be trouble-free playing mods online.
I won't go into the trials and tribulations Panzer and I have gone through trying to get CFS3 working. However, the stock game is close to unplayable as one bullet seems to disable the roll control on every plane! So we use the 1% planes that are 10x better.

I have CFS3, and have been a member at AvHistory for about 1 year. I'm part of a VERY small CFS3 Pacific group, and we had no troubles connecting.

Jeez, Hammer - putting yourself around a bit at the moment, aren't ya?! I'll be sticking to about 3 or 4 games me:

Falcon 4
RvS & AS
Joint Ops
GR (when we all want to have a blast)
LO-MAC (Not much anymore, want to concentrate on Falcon4 more)
mainly cos I want to get good at them, and with flight sims, although the principles are the same, the switchology is different, and that is what is holding me back at the moment.
Even though it's a while away yet, I am also looking forward to the flight sim of all flight sims which Fighter Ops are intent on giving us in the next few years. Myself and Hammer were pondering what aircraft with hi-fi flight modelling may be integrated when we eventually see it arrive. How about some speculation from you guys as what would be the way to go in that respect. if you were running the show, and one of your main aims was longevity of the sim - what would you be proposing as regards included aircraft?
