If anyone is willing to help me get OL in this mother-of-an-FPS, gimme a buzz on the forums.

By all means - it's not really that difficult - you just have to remember to recdord your evaluation once you complete it, before going back offline. Most of the stuff is very much tongue in cheek, but there are real challenges too - like the evasion phase, which IMHO is a little too sensitive at the wrong places. And the most effective technique which can be employed - slow, minimal movement and patience are not rewarded as well as they might be IRL. But it is worth doing to simply be able to say you've completed it. The "jumping" is a bit of a lottery, it's as much luck as it is control (of which there is very little!)
Kinda like steering our drunken bum friend up the street!

So you have to complete all the training before going OL?

Before you can partake in any of the online mission stuff, yes - you have to complete your training. There a re levels of training too, and you'll really want to get as well qual'd as you can, so you can do things like sniper and so on.
But be aware you should at least register before beginning your training sessions, and you'll need to go online to complete record of your assessment within that discipline - so as a matter of course I just remain online throughout the assessment, and then simply record my assessment immediately afterwards. You probably won't complete all your training in one day unless you are totally bored with nothing else to do!

I have the 2 sniper training missions to unlock (1 target off in Marksmanship!!! Infuriating.), and E&E left to do.

Well, those are the two tough ones. E & E is all about patience, if you just can't go that way, then find an alternative route - no matter how far round you have to track. The sniping is technique, but you'll get it.
