I am thoroughly impressed with this game...
I was conducting the first mission - very cold, in Norway I think, with heavy snow falling at night. We followed our insurgent guide to the base, and we were closing on the fence line. I was the sniper, and called a halt to scan for more enemy - others in my team had just taken out a couple of patrolling guards. There were a lot of dark shadows, and enemy could easily hide in them. I was scanning left to right through the compound, and I thought I saw something in a shadow. I fixed on the spot, and behold there was a puff of breath in the cold air! I waited to confirm another breath, and yes...I sqeezed off the shot and was rewarded with a kill confirmation. The only way I located that sentry was his breath in the cold air. THAT is detail!

Yes!
Mine came in the mail today!
I'm ready to SAS those stinky Germans in coop!!
The ONLY thing I can think of that I dislike about this game is the grenade throw modeling. It's an improvement over the first game, but it's not like OFP or GR or R6 or anything...a separate key to throw them, instead of choosing them as a weapon like you do the knife, pistols, or rifles.
TIP: If you get sound cut-outs, such as the guy in the briefing dropping the end of his sentences, go into the setup util and change the sound to software mixing. It doesn't sound QUITE as good as the hardware w/EAX, but sounds won't get cut out. This doesn't happen to everyone, but according to a poll I saw on the H&D2 forums, it happens to about 60% of the users, split about 20% Audigy, 20% Audigy 2, 10% SB Live, and 10% "other"---the other 40% report "no issues," even when using those cards.
YMMV.
