Well....

You HAVE been out of service for the last few months, maybe that would explain it?

Now that you are back in the saddle (more or less), maybe things will pick up in here?

I was thinking the same thing.... I kept looking at the "0 posts". I was tempted to just put a "." the other night so it would say 1 post

This is SO un-PC...

Wives/girlfriends/etc get a forum, but husbands/boyfriends/etc do not. Or do you think they would just be happy with the "Sig Others" designation? Who is the EO Officer in this unit?! :D

and now for something completely different.....

Post by Grifter »

The term "significant other" is derived from the latin, Signicae Otherum, literally meaning, special person in one's heart. The term came into frequent use during the beginning of the politically correct error of Westernized history, along with a barrage of other phraseology intended to support the PC movement now running rampant throughout the civilized world. While some still object to the ambiguity of the term, signifcant other, it has proven a useful supplement to the rather archaic nouns, girlfriend and fiance'. Nonetheless, the sudden uprising by liberal to insist upon the phrase, significant other, as permanent replacement for the noun, "wife" has met with strong resistance from the majority of society; so much so, that many, in heated debate, have resorted to rioting and the slaying of many marsupials. The involvement of marsupials in this particular linguistic war has yet to be explained by psychologist, who currently theorize that it may be the result of a mass neurosis. And so, we are left with a rather dismal quagmire of phraseological tug-of-war, which threatens world peace at this very moment.

Cheers, good night.

 Publicly noting my disgrace for shooting down the only other female officer in my squad. We mourn her loss and yet somehow this action along with the execution of my husband has alloted me a slot in this squad called Ghosts. I'm afraid they will all be ghosts by the time I am through.
