Ventrilo and IL-2

So what the heck happened exactly with Ventrilo when I shut down my server Friday night? I think what may have happened is that I was trying to talk while IL-2 was closing and my Windows desktop was redrawing itself since it used all of my RAM. Was my voice lagged out?

I could've sworn it was happening BEFORE you shut down. I mean, we were still flying. Also, your statement about shutting down the server was well into the lagged out stuff. Unless you waited to say you were shutting down until a minute or two after you actually did, in which case your comms discipline was lacking!!

i think he shut down, and the business of his machine help the voice packets until it had time to send them - therefore the lag effect.

then we just would not let him rest about it!
