Viper has good point! That is exactly the reason I have refused to purchase another game (SOAF)... I do not have enough time. Heck, I can not even find time to reinstall my stick and Falcon right now!

I voted no as well:
1) Unrealsitic (we know my feelings on that) (although I will admit SOF I was pretty fun and looked REALLY good and has an awesome damage model) (It would be palatable if they did not have those stupid health packs laying around and you couls not carry 12 weapons at once -ala Delta Force series)
2) Not enough time available to me to apply to yet another game....
3) I would rather play GR/AA online...than delve into yet another game.
All of this is my personal opinion of course. If y'all want to do it and have time and like the game, go for it!

Strike Fighter Project 1 INCOMING!!
Let us not forget that Strike Fighters Project 1 comes out TOMORROW, 10/24/02. I am definately picking that one up. I wouldn't mind flying SFP1 on Mondays seeing as very few people show up for F4. Raptor, you picking this one up? I am reserving Tuesdays for F4 FTS. Wed and Thurs are going to be my "take a break from the computer"/family days, Fridays are OFP night, Sat and Sun are open for me.
Maybe SFP1 will spark new interest and bring more people into the flights. Who knows...
As far as SOF2 goes, yes, it's unrealistic as all heck, but it's FUN! I see SOF2 as a time killer if no one is online to play our regular games/sims. So I vote NO for adding SOF2 to our official list of games. Just like everyone has said, not enough time, too many sims as is, and not realistic.

To be or not to be, that is the question....Right? Well no, actually it is'nt but I would tend to agree with not adding SOF2 to the official list. However, Katana reminds us all of the very essence, the embodiement of WOF. We do pledge and solemnly swear to have fun so help me... (pick your denomination). Therefore, we should always keep a few games on the side for those "we need a break from the norm" days. Anyway, I'm a realist, I'll get JF18 rolling again and then it will most likely take a backseat to Lomac or SFP. But like USAF, it will always be one of those banner games we keep on the side. Hey there is only so much time in a day and should'nt we all step outside to remember what the sun looks like? Boy am I glad I took up camping, I was becoming a real computer junkie.
