There's the video and here's the question (unrelated):
I'm moving into the new house on Friday and I've been setting up the various services. One thing that I want to make the best possible decision on is internet, as everyone here can relate. The new house is in Keller (76248) and this question is more directed to our Texas residents, but all advice is welcomed.
I've been able to find SBC Southwestern Bell DSL and a company called OneSource Communications. From what I've heard, OneSource owns the lines and provides cable/phone/dsl/security service to the area. I'm all about sticking it to the Monopoly so if there's a better service out there I'll go for it.
So Raptor, Kat, Mongoose and other TX residents, what are your opinions, what do you see as my options, or am I just screwed?
Thanks for reading, enjoy the video

whoa.
What a great find...I hope the pilot is alright? From what I can tell, it was over Khasan? not a training exercise apparently? Well, on a lighter note, it does tell you something about us. I was listening to the communications and watch the maneuvers being performed by way of the HUD, and thoguht of myself and the way I fly the sims. You know, we really do get it as close to real as you can get without suiting up. Man I can't tell you how many times I thought my lanes were clear, only to find a mig just off to the right or left of my hud at 8 miles. Happens to the best of us I guess. Geesh, the guy almost flew into his wingman on top of it all. That slow motion track of an a/c within a few hundred feet or less; it definitely looked like another f16. It sounded like he had a guy in his backseat? Asking him to knock off the G's?
actually "knock it off" is a terminate call, often times for a safety issue (lost sight, traffic entering the area, etc..)
When it is called, all members respond with callsign
"Pogo flight, knock it off"
"Pogo One, knock it off"
"Pogo Two, knock it off"
You notice just before you see the near-midair you hear the pilot call that he lost sight of his wingman....scary.

yes..
I went to the aggressor39 board to read the summary of the vid; apparently, 2 f-16 collide in training. To lose sight of your wingman like that and have him pop up in front of you? Well, that would do it for me, I would've needed a new flight suit.
Thanks Alex
That was an excellent video to watch. I agree, I almost thought I was watching a video clip from an F4 flight. It goes to show that F4 is as close to realism as a sim can get.
I just started reading Vipers in the Storm, and I am so hooked on this book. I can't seem to put it down.
Thanks for the video.

checked COVAD.....hicksville address not found
It's so tough these days to get that streaming banjo and jug playing on the internet.....doh!
For the time being, we're going with OneSource cable internet (no setup fee, no modem rental, no contract)...so if they're no good I can make the switch with little loss.
Thanks for the tips

A little follow up on "knock it off"
I was cleaning my desk and looking for study materials when I came across the UPT notebook. Here's what I found:
B.U.M.M.S.W.O.R.L.D.
B - Boundary Exceeded
U - Unscheduled aircraft in area
M - Minimum fuel (BINGO)
M - Minimum altitude/cloud clearance
S - Situational Awareness lost
W - Wing rock
O - Over G
R - radio/comm lost
L - Learning objectives completed
D - Dangerous situation developing
Sidenote: My connection is all screwy and I think I've hit the max for troubleshooting this end. Time to call the company. I'll have about 8 mins of solid connection followed by 1 or 2 mins of no connection whatsoever (detecting proxy settings, website contacted, waiting for reply). It's got me stumped, and it's a NOGO for online flying/shooting.
Any ideas folks?
Thanks in advance
