WOF Uniforms

Post by Gator »

Hi Ghosts,

I'm going to put the "finishing" touches on our Weapons/Uniforms in the next week or so. I'm going to redo the logo on our uniforms - i learned a new trick.

Let's have some uniform suggestions please.

We currently have 9 or 10 uniform choices with all 4 classes available in each uniform option.

What I'd like to do is make certain classes associated with certain uniforms. Perhaps have the CQB uniforms only available with the rifle and demo kits. etc .... suggestions on this?

This would cut down on the feeling that there are sooooo many options.

Are there uniforms that you just don't like?

Feel free to suggest anything ... i didn't create any of the uniforms, so you won't hurt my feelings!

well, i guess the first question to ask is what does this mod represent? do we have a theme? from there it is fairly easy to narrow things down... if folks want, we can split it into a couple of themes...

I know2 Steel is big on the THEMES idea, as for me I will have to get back to you on that - even if it's only to say i don't like that particular uniform or something......give me until then end of the weekend to give you a definite on this one.

well, i thought we were simulating the real thing - and in real life you do not have a hodge podge of uniforms and weapons...each unit has their particular uniforms and weapons...

Well,

What I was going for was to include as much as we wanted to use ... then we choose during each mission, realistic uniforms and weapons. The idea is to have everything we like in one place so we don't have to activate and deactivate all sorts of different mods. So, if during one mission, we all want to be Force Recon, we all just choose the right uniform. Then, you'd have the appropriate weps for that unit associated with it.

It shouldn't be where each person chooses a different uniform etc for the same mission ... we should just specify at the beginning ... it's easier to select the right uniform/kit than to bring the server down and change mods and rejoin.

If you want, we can break it up, but I was trying to get away from having several mods for people to keep up with ... just trying to keep it all together.
