VC challenge...

Post by Hammer »

13th...perhaps you would like to take on the Ghosts in the VietCong demo? It is free and therefore available to all of us.

I just tried it and the environmentals are quite good - comparable or maybe better than GR. Not true iron sights, but close... The terrain is a little blocky, but textured very well... And no need for Gamespy for multiplayer!

Hey! Since Kamikaze is not a member of either unit, how about we use him for the "chicken"... :D

Kami,
pick which team you would like to side with, but we will probably end up mixing it up anyway...

Which side

Post by Softball »

Hey K,

If you don't mind being killed or grenaded by your own team mates, then goto the GR side. If you want to be on a team that let you get killed or grenaded by the opposite team, join the OFP side.

Or just flip a coin.

Thats ok, I have enough problems with grenades as it is! Just today I was up on a ridge, and was trying to gun down an Army guy who ran up against the wall. Things got quiet, he didn't pop up...and suddenly I see this little ball fly up next to me... crap! I started running, then dove to the ground. Lying down actually helped me survive! I stood up again, and the Army guy had learned his lesson- he didn't give me any reaction time for the second. I saw it fly up, and it was the same distance as before...but this time I was standing, and all the fragments got me. Ouch!

I also have bad experiences with bouncing grenades...but then again, who doesn't!?
