Az I know this is a tough time for you and your family, My prayers and those of my family go to you and yours....just remember that you might be new to ELH..but you are still a member of the Lighthorse family...and we are here if you need us...(We take care of our own..)

I thank God your Dad is still alive, and I am glad for you. I know consolation on a web page seems kind of hollow, but the ELH are here for you on many levels. The best thing I could do is offer some advice. Love and enjoy your Father in the time you have now. None of us knows the time on Earth we are given. I lost my Dad July 30, 1993. I have spent the last nine years regretting the things I had said, not said, or wishing I could still ask him so many questions. I don't know what your relationship is like with your Dad, but I would suggest you decide what you want things to be like. Ask his advice and use it. TALK to him. LISTEN to him. Most importantly, tell him you Love him. I know this sounds kinda touchy feely, and my seriousness might scare some folks, but If I had the chance, that's what I would do.
