Yes, the CLPT-C3 Catapult was designed as an artillery mech with 2 ARROW IV missile launchers. The ARROW IVs replace the LRM 15s that were in the launchers in the old C1. The cat is an excellent mech.
Rotary Autocannons are basically big miniguns (gatlings).

They increased the heat in ERL to 9 now so laser cat will be hard press to use those 6 and 7 ERL configs(like me...hehe). Its good to c that med and small lasers are getting an upgrade...they were useless. And the RAC...will have to wait and c how it works(my hunchback is waiting in the hangar for a retrofit :D ). The hardpoint in the mechys look good...looking forward for the Hellhound the Victor and the Puma.

Big Benn wrote:Another thing I hope was improved upon is the head and rear torso armor thing. IMO, it does no good to even put armor there in MW4 because there are RARELY any weapon contact with those areas.
Awww come on. How long you been wingin ELH?
I'll admit that it doesn't seem fair that the only head shots I ever get on a Summoner are when I'm jumpin over him. BKs on the other hand...hehe, get one peekin over a hill, and he ain't nothin but a couple of head shots away from a respawn.

BB they did increased the damage for ERmed lasers(dont know about the others)...it went from 1.5 pts to 2.45pts of damage and they also increased the heat from 1.2 to 2.5. In ERL they increased the heat from 8 to 9 and reduced damage from 8 to 7.5. About the other thing it would be nice to include critical hits to engine and gyro and heat sinks like mw2 as you said.
As for mech packs yes you have to install them in Mercs to use the mechys...as i understand all mechys from MW4 and BK are included along with the new ones.
