its broken

Post by BlackHawk*K »

ok just so i only have to type this once HEHEHE. and the fact im doped up on vickies right now so i dont feel the space bar.... ( amazing how you do things out of habit..) i was just wanting everyone to know i broke my thumb the other day... i will be off an on. and i may be doped up or not lol. this is what happens with your thumb has an abrupt meeting with a 19 oz hammer... needless to say it hurt... i went home thinking i might of just bashed it like i have done in the past. however hte massive swelling kinda gave it away. after 4 hours of finding that it was not getting better i went to the emergency room. and sure enough it broke right above hte knuckle.. under the nail...

ok so now this is in the open feel free to tease or use bad puns about nails (feather....) and anything else you wish. it was actualy a richoche off a nail that it happened and my hand was where it was becuse i was useing it to both hand onto the wood and hangen on to the roof i was doing. the trip down was a slow and carefull process and only one cussword was uttered. since this was a public place LOL. i feel totaly the idiot but we laghing at it at the home stead about my co workers plotting to do me harm. (some may remember hte 2x4 a few weeks ago) so feel free youselves :P

ok im doped up and rambling so i better go...
<S>!

its all thumbs up from here!

Wow, and there was me thumbing through the forum and finding this post.

Just face it BH, the reality is it was an attempt by your Thumb to escape and join the Hit TV show "thumbs".

Maybe you could post a thumbnail of the damage ( )

hehe. well there are two things i am VERY carefull of, saws and nail guns... i used to be saftey lead in a shake mill about 8 years ago. one of the perks is you get to look threw the great big book of 'oops' where you get to see the results of job injuries... needless to say it kept my digits faaar away from things like that. so far to date. besides the little love taps and breaking in a new frameing hammer with the nice new waffles.. i have put a pin nailer threw a finger once. stung like hell but no biggy... makes me think about all those ppl who have peirceings... hehe. ive had some close calls from deflectied nails with nail guns, but that generaly holds you over for a few years... this is actualy the worse thing ive ever done to myself in such a manner. suprisingly it dosnt realy hurt much now (note the leangth of my posts... yup space bar and all ;) ) i think i will wait till the thumb nail falls off and get a real gross pic for you all MAHAHAA oh hehe. i think this think hurt the worse the first few days now its pretty much ok, just hurts when i accedently use it wrong or something.

its nice to see how many posts are on here.. i knew you all were a witty lot :) and thought i could turn this into someting fun lol.
