The nice bods over at Mek Tek have released 3 MW4 maps for Mercs. These are shown as official portings so take a stroll over to,

They come with self-installers so no more "what folder do they go in" MAKE SURE you read the install screen. There are files you must manually copy across from MW4 or these new maps will not work.

The 3 are Hogsback, Equinox and Scrub

i have one question tho.....what's the difference between the 'normal' maps, and the ones marked 'X BETA'

Those Mek Tek boys don't mess about! They have added Timber and Lakefront since my last post.

Moose use the 'Official' ones, the betas are, well, betas really

so far i have been d/ling the official ones. I just wondered if, bcos the betas are called frostbite X etc etc, if there was something xtra special about them...apparently not

Palace Gates and Inner City have been added....also, mektek have started a new page for 'pro stock' maps from mercs, i.e. enhanced versions of the maps already available in mercs, with better DZ placement, and support for CTF and TKOTH. Enjoy
