Ok to honour the Moose's request here's one not based on military history:

The Question is in three parts with the answer to each question leading onto the next question which will in turn require a more in depth answer.

Ok, u all understand that

Question 1. Was the Legend of King Beowulf true or false?

G'luck.

Here's one.

What president's assasin thought an ivory handled pistol would look good in a museum?

What happened to that pistol?

To expand my original question:

1. Is the legend of Beowulf true or false?

Answer: The discovery of a Saxon Kings burial site has forced historians to reconsider the accuracy of the Beowulf saga and has led to the conclusion it may be correct.

2. Which Saxon Kings burial site was found, where and when.

Hmmm , Maybe if these questions were a lil bit easier more people would post. It’s getting to the point where you haft to research and read several documents before finding what might be the answer. I have an easy one for yas.

(1) Who was the Mothers Brothers next door neighbors son-in-laws dogs owners name , that drove the ice-cream truck out to pier 51 on several occasions just before the Japanese Battleship Yamato came in for dock in the year 1944 on what island.

LOL Falker, thats easy.......:D

Okay music, the universal language. So here is some from me.....

Q1. Pink Floyd wrote one of their albums, Wish you were here, as a tribute to someone. Who, and what happened reportedly to cause his/her dissapearence?

Q2. Who did Bob Dylan famously campaign for the release of, and write a song about?

Q3. Which Scottish band had one of their hits as part of the soundtrack to a recent top kids animated film. Name the film and band (hint: Eddie Murphy provided the voice to one of the characters in the film).

i reckon the film is Shrek, where Eddie Murphy provided the voice for the character 'Donkey', but i don't have a clue as to which band it is. I could go and look at the credits on the DVD, but i'm just too lazy :)

(1) The roots of WISH YOU WERE HERE go back to 1987, when bassist/vocalist Eroc Sosinski joined forces with former guitarist/vocalist JIm Tigue in the Cleveland-based classic rock band HARVEST and soon began performing a "Pink Floyd Revue." The band, which evolved into TIE-DYE HARVEST in 1991, toured Ohio and surrounding states full-time until the mid-1990's and recorded 3 original releases along the way. "In 1995 we decided to tribute Floyd exclusively and created WISH YOU WERE HERE," says Sosinski, "incorporating the successful elements of the Revue with key personnel additions and a more theatrical focus."

Im not sure I understand (Q2)

(3) McCalmans band and Shrek
