Ah, so I'm not the only one! That map is FREEZE CITY for me. Whenever I get close to an enemy mech, the screen freezes. My hard drive thrashes. More often than not, when it unfreezes, I'm dead. But the worst freezes happen when people disconnect. Those freezes can last a minute or more. Last week on the Ft Winston server, three people disconnected in a row right before the end of the game, and I experienced the Grandaddy of All Freezes - somewhere in the vicinity of FOUR MINUTES.

But freezing is only part of the fun of Concourse for me. The sound will often crackle. Sometimes, the trees will have little sparkles on them, like Christmas tree lights.

Someone suggested it might be a memory problem. How much RAM do you have, Falk?

I have only 240 ram here , I have another 60 on my Main board but for some reason in the last few months , the extra 60 Ram wont show up even when I go into Bios and make the approximate settings. That scares me : ) with all the hacks and viruses I've had. But I've reset C-Mos and reformatted since then , and the 60 Ram on my Asus Mother Board will still not appear.. So I gave Up on it.

As far as Concourse Map goes... I've had it really lag on me big time. To the Point where I took off a Ryoken’s Arms with no problem and had him about trashed. Then he got scared and started running away from me ,.. so I followed him and was completely shredding his back side from a distance of no more then 30 feet for a couple few Blocks and the Mech didn't blow. By the time I realized that he led me into a trap , it was a little too late for me.

Lag is not the only problem I have on this map. Sometimes I have a hard time even Dropping onto it when there is allot of people already in there. I think this map is buggy , and I don't think that I’m the only one that thinks so. As far as the other maps go ,.... I have no problems with them.

ive had a few problems with this map, but mainly on the fort server. but for me it seems most my problems are on the fort, when i drop to other servers on the same maps everything runs ok. im not sure why it effects me this way. ive also noted that one some servers there is a time lag, meaning that when i shoot it takes a few to show the damage but generaly it always shows up in a few seconds. however on other servers everything shows up but its like playing with perpetual NDB where your shots only effect about 70% of the time. i have also noticed that this is consistant. latly the fort server has been realy bad for me, the only thing i can think of is there must be some messed up route between me and it becuse generaly it always shows up to be under 100 ping on my puter before i drop in. so i would say try playing the map on other servers and see what happens if its a consistant thing on the map and not the server then it could just be a huge amount ot textures on the map maybe?? dunno realy.

I was on the Fort last night with Bio and whilst I was having no problems his ping kept jumping to around 500+, which was good for me as about a third of his hits resulted in no damage.
