Robotech Macross Saga on DVD

Post by Falker »

This place has them at the lowest cost. I've seen them on e-bay for up to $51 for the whole set. http://www.rightstuf.com/1-800-338-6827 ... 5047/4/0/0

I looked and apparently I've lost the ones I had on VHS. Now that their on DVD tho , I'll bet I'll enjoy watching them even more someday. A CLASSIC , Enjoy !

Yah, I've got about half of the whole thing on DVD so far. I need to go ahead and pick up the rest! I'm not too crazy about the Southern Cross stuff, but the Macross and New Generation parts are pretty cool.

Generic Robotech Character Impression:

"Huh?!?"
"Wha--?!?"
"Oh!!!"

Aye , they have been showing some of that Generic Robotech kiddie stuff on the Cartoon Channel late at night. I was watching it too , for awhile , but the story started out okay ( I guess) and then ended up real stupid like. I like Robotech because it was the first Animated Cartoon that came out with REAL Life scenarios , where the characters actually die in combat or in some fantastic space battle action. It caught my eye back in the 9th grade over 23 years ago.

They have allot of dumb ones out these days. Mostly focusing on Female Asian Teens who speak English fluently. They look nice , but it’s more fake and unrealistic fantasy stuff , in comparison to Robotech. I dream of the day when someone brings back reality to these Battle Tech Cartoons.

There’s another Animated Cartoon that’s been showing on the Action Channel and WAM lately , called Matropulis or something. Where a Boy meets a Girl Android that’s , built to hook up to the main frame computer and blow up the world. It was a decent Cartoon Animated flick. I guess the ending is the best part where she finds out she’s not human and plugs in to the main frame and starts the process to eliminate human beings on the planet , but the boy , pulls her from her chair and tries to get her back . She doesn’t realize that she’s starting to come back to caring for the boy , until it’s too late and she falls off the top of a building platform to her death.
