I saw one of these Flying Rods on TV the other day while watching NBC news. It was the same camera view as the one in the above link. The flying rod I saw came right at the camera and veered off to the right. The split second Seattleite delay made it look like it was going in slow motion , and I got a very Very good look at the ,.. Thing. As it came with in inches of the camera.

UPN news here in California had a report about them a few times. They started showing up in the mid 1990’s over here in CA. and down in Mexico. I think it’s either a new species , ( but none have been found dead yet ) or alien spying eyes , sent here to collect Intel information about our planet. I was trying to find a good drawling of one but came up empty. So here are other sites that have some info about them.

There was one good explanation on one of those links. Think about this...

If the object moves so fast so as not to be visible to the naked eye, then with the shutter speed on cameras being as they are, any small object that moves quickly across the screen would leave a trail. This would explain their length.

If you sat 2 cameras next to each other, one with the standard 1/30th (or 1/60th?) shutter speed and a digital one with full frame rate, in the analog camera the object would 'streak' on the screen but on the digital one it would show for what it is...a small fast moving bug.

Im with Buff on this one mate, ease of the bongs. Do you mind if i get the job of confiscating your stash?

seriously though, i watched the program on cable about 8 months ago. seems there is defently something there. just no way to know what it is at this point. either lighting issues with the cameras, a new bug, something created. or mass delusions without drugs..... who knows. but interesting.

Man , Okay , I use to toke it up back in my late teens early twenty’s with my stoner buddy , It was just occasional tho , never even got close to the point where I had to have a bong rip before I started my day. But we all have to grow up someday. Those were the good days when you didn’t need to worry about much. Going on age 36 next July , Just Reminiscing.

But I’ve always wondered what them Brits and Germans have over there to compare with some of the stuff we have over here . We got the Maui Wowie , Hum boat County , Tie , Chocolate Tie , Skunk , Mexican Red , Purple Ses and My Fav , Endica. What them Brits have ? Irish Red , German Hail , French Provencal , Café O Lot Te , Russian Pain , Arab Brown ?
