mw4: broken...

well im back, but aparently my game still wants a vactation... i havnt done anything with my mw4 mercs while i was off line and everything is exactly the same as it was before. however since i got my cable back and online, everytime i go into zone match to try to knock some rust off ( a huge process if playing instant action is any indication....) i get a zone match error that it cant find the main server for the game lists. i went to the web site it said to check and didnt see any mention about rather or not the zone match server was down. SOOOO.... i reinstalled the damn thing and still the same thing. at this point im doing web search to see if i can find references about this but no luck at this point. any ideas folks?

hmm will do Tach.

as to firewalls, i dont have any. my network card is connected directly to the cable modem. this is the only PC on it. ive had such bad luck with firewalls that i realy hate useing them. even zonealarm. it seems to like to block ports or something. went threw a 3 hour tour with a tech support idiot for him to basikly say that... since then i havnt installed anything. the winXP firewall thing is disabled and always has been.

as to hacking. i dont use my PC for buisness or any kind of net transactions so worse thing that can happen would be basikly get some gameing account info stolen or someone comes in and trashes my PC.

wouldnt be fun, but least no one could screw up my credit or anything worse then i already have lol.

With all this talk of MW and some of the old faces reappearing I thought it would be time to throw the dust sheets off my Mad Cat. So I installed MW Veng. then BK, then the IS/Clan packs. I tried manfully to install Mercs but it kept telling me it was not in my CD! So I thought I'd give MW a run without Mercs installed. Opening screen showed the packs installed but the game showed none of the Mechs, Weaps nor maps, so basically it was not there! After a couple hours of install/reinstall hell I am now back to having no MW on my PC!

Well on my part Mercs some times has the mech packs some times it doesnt and some times what happened to BH happens to me also...error conecting to zone server or whatever.
