Hello all:
After a lot of hardship and waiting at last i was commisoned a 2nd LT this past saturday. Since i was a kid i always wated to be a soldier and an officer, i became a soldier at age 19...and now at aqe 29 i earned my commisson. I had three alternative for branch of service, Military Police, Engineering and Signal...i got MP(wanted Engineering but what the hell).
Ill probably go to officer basic course this next year(Fort Leanordwood i think...prob spelled it wrong also). Anyway just wanted to share this with you guys. Take care all.<S> :salut:

Congrats Bio!
My brother was stationed at Ft. Leonardwood (sp too)back in the early 70's. I guess there are worse places to be stationed. You could have gotten stuck in Oklahoma. Slam is an afternoon's drive up the road from there as I recall, and Mince and I aren't too far off the beaten path either. I think if you got a craving for a home cooked meal while you were state-side, somebody could probably hook you up.
