This one is fairly new.

Anyone want to try it out?

I'm up for trying it out. Hopefully it's good quality. I have been having issues with RW the last few sessions of F4, I can transmit, but not hear anyone talking. And it seems to be a random thing. If I shut down RW and restart it, it usually works again.

Let's try this Ventrilo out and see how good/bad it is.

I get the same thing with RW - occasionally it will cut out - either me transmitting to one or more people, or not being able to hear one or more people. Makes it difficult to figure out who has the problem, and it is totally random - at least it seems so.

Remember we have the teamspeak server as well, and there is a teamvoice (?) software in addition...

... and MS Gamevoice Share (free as well)...

Although I can say that I have had zero problems with RW that I can't trace to something I did (ie. mute button :) )

Me too! The issues i have been having are dissimilar to others - I find that I am pushed off the channel to somewhere else. And then eventually we usually find me being dropped off the server too.
However, my problems are probably BW related.

I'd have to say that as much as i have liked RW in the past, lately i have been unable to hear some of the other people also. and i have been dropped a couple of times in the past week too.

I have to concur with the rest of the guys here and say that over the oast couple of weeks i have been having lots of problems with RW in the same way as the rest of you, (sudden loss of contact (random) and all i can hear is Mike clicks)

Hmmm... It has always acted srangely like that for me...RW that is.

I guess we should give this new one a shot...

Kat,
Don't forget that Kodiak was constantly dropped from TS, but that is nothing new for him. Unfortunately for him (fortunately for us??? :D ) he gets dropped from any connection it seems...given enough time.
