No Left Wing Media Exists! Honest!

Post by PanzerMeyer »

First CBS News and Dan Rather "mess up" with the Air National Guard story and now Newsweek screws up with their Koran story. Hmmm....just honest mistakes? But unlike Rathers stilted bias, the Newsweek bias caused the deaths of 17 people.

I don't read newsweek, so I won't comment on a particular bias, but I would say there's a definite lack of integrity in the media of all flavors right now. I've gotten where I don't even read the "World News" anymore. I'll read the local news. I just read the commentary when it comes to world events - at least I know that's biased.

I know how you feel Gator. The only news tv program I watch is the McNeil-Lehrer News Hour on PBS. It's the only one I know of that is very objective and it actually reports news in a very intelligent manner. It also doesn't report any "fluff" that most of your local news shows do as well as some of the national network news.

Watch the Daily Show. It's funny, plus they're very good at pointing out the crap floating around.

Problem with your country is that these big corporations have too much say in what the government does and how they react to certain situations, because they have to worry about their support from these corporations. Surely it should be about the support of the country's people as individuals collectively and not . . . . .well, you get the idea. maybe I am simply too much of an idealist for my own good. In my mind, politics comes only second to religion for ruining this world.

Well having studied journalism and done a bit of reporting in my time, I can honestly say I don't trust anyone anymore.
