Reality Mod 1.92

Post by PanzerMeyer »

Guys, have any of you played Joint Ops with the Reality Mod? It really improves the game and it "almost" feels as realistic as OFP. I've been playing it with Jedi and some guys from SimHQ recently. It's great.

Wednesday sounds good for Joint Ops. I'm pretty sure Jedi can make it as well.

is this just for the original, or is the expansion needed/used as well?

I think both my JO AND LOMAC were both lost in the 'give it to the charity shop' incident we had.  Anyway, I'm really going to settle for Falcon4:AF and OFP as my two main titles. FtF and iL-2 will be my back-ups for now, and of course there is DW and maybe even SHIII.

the mod site is really scarce on information.

does this mod do anything to make me more interested in the game??? ;)

and does it or does it not require the expansion? if so, is there a gold version or some such that includes both the original and the expansion?

Yes, it does require the expansion. Quite simply, the mod makes Joint Ops more "realistic". It changes the weapons ballistics, it changes the gunsights and it also removes the in-game map and replaces it with a compass (like OFP). It also adds some new soldier skins.

I think we're doing H&D 2 tonight but if that falls through we'll definitely do JO
