You don't wear this sort of thing for Hallowe'en mate! You put it in a glass cabinet that has laser, ultra-sonic vibration and pressure tampering alarm devices integrated. In a large room, with a guard outside!

LOL that's normal for me Steel. Though most workdays I'm in bed by 10:30pm. Why what time do you hit the sack?

no, that is my point - it was a workday...

i usually go to bed between 10 and midnight - depending upion what i am working on. lately it has been 11 to midnight as i am playing around with CoLinux and trying to get it running... sometimes it is working on the web servers, or a game mission, something like that.

Well, I gotta tell ya, my bedtime is really 10:30 on work nights. Anything more than that and I live to regret it the next day. Now weekends, I can go to 1 am but that's only if I can sleep in the next day.

I'm on vacation all this week, so I stay up LATE and sleep in until like 10-11am. :D

That time listed is nothing, I have been going to bed at 4am the last 3 days!!

My whereabouts...

Post by Softball »

To help ease your worries of my where abouts....

Friday night - 5th wedding anniversary, went out with wife. Nuff said.

Sat day/night - Worked in yard(suck), Taking care of sick wife = no games, watched TV and tended to her needs (you know how sick wives/women can get).

Sunday day/night - Attended friends 40th B-day party at a park an hour drive away, had a Softball game at 7:30pm, went to bar after game, came home went to bed, I was pooped out.

Monday day/night - Worked in yard(yes, yardwork SUCKS but is necessary), had oil changed in wifes car, went out with friends to pre-celebrate my B-day (friend could not make it on my Bday the next day), got home late, no games :( .

Tuesday day/night - Went to friends house to help him upgrade his (2) computers. Went to store to buy new parts, software, etc.. Stayed at friends house, worked on computers until 6pm. Went home, changed clothes, went out for my 36th Bday celebration (Red Lobster for dinner), had some drinks, got home late, went to sleep.

Wednesday - Took my SUV in for Oil change (that time of the year), got new floormats for my SUV (2002 Pathfinder), went shopping with my $200 in Bday money $$$$. Bought Southpark DVDs, Season 1 and 2, Bad News Bears DVD trio(Love the shows, Im a baseball nut), and Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 with expansion (wth, why not, it was on sale). Came home watched a little South Park, Bad News Bears, and rode a couple rollercoasters in RCT3. Around 2:45pm, I went to the movies and saw The Devil's Rejects. Not a bad movie, although it's what I would expect from Rob Zombie. His wife was one of the stars in the movie, so it was worth watching. 8)

Got home about 5pm, took a shower and was out the door to my friends house to work on his computer(s) again. Got one computer done, the other will have to wait until the weekend, I wanna enjoy my last 2 days of vacation dammit!! Got home about 10pm, surfed the web, Dld some music, watched more South Park, typed this post, and now I am going to bed.

So, this hopefully will clear up any concerns of my where abouts since last Friday. I apologize for not being able to make it on with you guys, but you know, RL just happens to get in the way sometimes.

P.S. I will be on Thursday and Friday night for some gaming goodness.

So, NOW your vacation starts, basically!!

I guess I'm lucky. When my wife is sick, she just wants to lie in bed (as do I) and there's no "tending to" necessary. :) Heh, if anything I get MORE time on the PC!

I need to make a list of all the DVDs I have. They're now spread out over 4 rooms and only I know where they all are!

Well I have been on leave for the last two weeks and out of that I have been able to get online NIL time due to the contractual problems regarding my telephone line - more about that when I manage to get online BB again, okay? The first w/end I had to cover a duty for one of the lads who's wife gave birth to their first child (been there done that, so I understood how important it was for him to get the time off, and no other bastard would help, so there I was! It was a quiet duty anyway, no probs!) This week I had to attend the first of my resettlement briefings - no way I was going to miss that, seeing as my future and the family's depend on that. We still intend to immigrate to Canada or US, but it will probably depend on job availability I guess. Welll that first seminar was cancelled and I had to go back the following day, so two days lost really. Apart from that I have been out playing a few rounds of golf with my son, and he really is beginning to belt that ball down the fairway. But we need to work on his putting first, as he loses too many strokes there, even though it's where he's made most improvement IMHO. But the hols are still fun.

What kind of jobs/careers would you pursue if you come to Canada or the US?

Probably electronics field - medical & dental repair/maint, or communications is quite big at the moment, perhaps even the IT field in some way. But I am open to anything that might cross my path in an opportune fashion too.
